Medium Assembled Wooden Frames with Waxed Foundation

Love the medium frames because they are not as heavy. Very well made excellent product!

I would prefer plastic frames. Wood frames require more maintenance and wax moth like to burrow hole in the wood in them.

Overall build quality is decent, but saying these are "Heavy" waxed is pretty far from the truth. This is pretty common with wood frame foundations, the claim is they are waxed heavily and you end up with the lightest coating of wax to the point you can neither smell the wax or feel it on the frame. It took longer than expected for the girls in my hives to take to these frames over using other brands that are waxed better. I would recommend Apimaye adjust their description or get with Premier and do the frame foundations right. I will have to look somewhere else than Premier for wood frames with foundations in the future.
