I have them in my queen defender hive and they are a great item. I love the ability to swap them from halves to fulls.
However, much like the defender hive, I wish they were a more readily available item. Seems like the window when they are available shrinks fast and I often miss it. They’re great but I would like a spare set to maneuver to nucs when the mini mating hives get too strong. Basically give myself the ability to split the queen defender when those hives get crowded.
