These latches are easy to install. They provide the same locking system as on the original Apimaye with the same lifting benefits.

I have the latches in good time since I ordered. They are very well made an the utube demo is great as to installation. No need to buy all your apimaye boxes at once wen you can use latches on your wooden boxes to get well started.
Buying more latches to attach the bottom board to the deep box after removing the six hold screws. I had to do this to gain access to the bottom board during the winter months to remove the dead winter bees. Cleaning dead bees off the screen bottom board couldn't be done properly with a stick or wire. I can also clean and/or switch out a clean bottom board easily now.
