Called and left a message before ordering, had a quick return call and questions answered. The order was delivered promptly and items well secured. Fairly new to this beehaving and enjoying thus far, although I have a great bee keeper she is very happy with the brooder and frames! Living in North Texas with the extreme heat and cold winters investing in great hives is a must. Thanks to the folks at Apimaye for quality products and great customer service, they are very much appreciated!
The reason I wish I had not bought this is because I now realize that I am doomed to replace all of my hives with Apimaye. Insulation, ventilation, pollen collection, screened or solid bottom boards, queen excluder, feeders, entrance reducers, drift reduction with color identification (yes you can get lots more colors) - all built into the plan. Even the inspections are better because the boxes are not stuck together as much as the woodenware. I should’ve started with this. Like most beekeepers I had to go through the build it all yourself stage. I’m past that. Take my money.
AFTER SEVERAL EMAILS AND CALLS, EVERYONE REALIZED I HAD AN OLDER MODEL, (THEY CHANGED THIS YEAR), AND THE SCEW WAS AT THE TOP. NEEDS TO BE MADE OF STRONG PLASTIC BECAUSE THE BEES WITH "CEMENT" THEM SHUT. NEED TO TAP GENTLY TO RELEASE.
