Apimaye 10 Frame Dual Feeder

  • The dual feeder is designed to fit under the regular telescopic top cover and we have tested it with a few telescopic covers from different vendors we've seen in conventions. However it should be noted that different manufacturers may have different tolerances which may result in tight fit or some shaving of the top covers from inside. It should also be noted that this top feeder sits on top of the hive body, and the top cover will only be covering the feeder. Used top covers, especially if they are warped may have issues properly fitting.

Feedesr are great

All our hives have Apimaye upgrade kits. (we currently have 17 hives) All hives have the double feeders. The enlargement of the syrup area is beneficial to the beekeeper allowing more syrup available for the bees and less trips to refill feeders. The feeding compartment for the bees to access the syrup allows for more bees to feed at once, almost triples (if not more) the number of bees feeding at once. We are looking forward to using the patty area here in a couple of weeks when the weather changes. We so enjoy the Apimaye upgrades & new feeders.
Only complaint was in the shipping of the 10 feeders we bought - on feeder cover (small inner feeder cover that protects the bees) and had to request a new one - it was only $1 but the service rep requested I send a picture - not sure if they did not know what I was talking about or wanted to be sure I wasn't scamming. Complied and within days a new cover was sent.

I bought 2. I absolutely love them. Makes feeding my bees extremely easy without opening them. Whether its liquid or patties/fondant. Minimal loss of heat in colder temps.

Well thought out piece of equipment.

I saw this on a video and decided to give it a try. I purchased 2 and after 2 weeks I went back and got 7 more. I use wooden equipment and the fit very well. I added a shim on top and then the outer cover.
The seem very sturdy (I wouldn't drive a truck over them) I expect them to last a long time with reasonable care.

Love the option to feed solids like pollen patties and syrup st the same time. Wish it wasnt so vented.
