In the cool weather, having an extra you can quick swap is great. Pack the patti or fondant, swap, repeat.
I can't tell you what a game changer these feeders are. We use them on our lyson polys too.

In winter I like to fill the center feeder of my Dual Feeder with fondant or sugar bricks. Having extras allows me to make them in advance and then just swap them out when they need more feed!
I like these hives a lot I have 12 of them 3 boxes each I have an adapter i made I put flow frames on after that I also made a clear feeder so I can see in and not disturbed the bees during winter

They seamlessly attach to my wooden ware with no problems. I really like the integrated pollen trap system. Just make sure you have the entrance gates in the proper position. Lol!
