Everything apimaye does is a great design and this is no exception. Easy. Functional and if you have to move a hive you can just slide them closed. These are great. Also no need for additional hardware for mouse guards in winter. Love them.
I noticed right away I have wayyy less bees dying in the feeder compared to the traditional in hive feeder. It is easy to get in and out. Also easy to clean which is a plus.
Other than being one of the most expensive buckets I have ever purchased, the price is insane, I had to buy one just to see how well it preserves honey. My first harvest I yielded 50 lbs. The bucket was about half full. I’m not sure I will be able to lift the bucket if I would have filled it, the capacity is well over 100 lbs. The big question, are the handles capable of that much weight?
Apimaye products are costly without question. I have always felt that. But I don’t know if anyone can produce a better product. Apimaye has to be the best in everything they make. They do their research, and it shows. Hope the handles hold the weight.
