Our nuc supers are designed for our Apimaye 7 frame nucs. If you have a single colony in our 7 frame nuc, and want to continue with our 7 frame system, you can grow your colony using our 7 frame nuc super.
Our 7 frame systems are easier to lift as they are up to one third lighter than the regular 10 frame hive. Our nuc super, filled with 7 frames of honey would be about the same weight as a 10 frame medium super. Therefore it may be preferred by some beekeepers as they can have a lighter super and can still use the frames interchangeably.
Our nuc super also has 4 round entrances, 2 on each side.

I made a mistake though! My 10 frame Apimaye hives are white! My
7 frames hives are tan! Wish I had been more careful with my ordering!. Love 7 frame hives! Much lighter when filled! I'm OLD!
These are great way to start hives and to over winter late summer splits.
I love these hives. They are so complete nothing else to buy.
I use a Deep brood box and 2 deep supers
And a flow super on top

These hives handle snow-belt winters with ease.
Top feeders, entrance reducers, locking clasps are all well designed and very convenient.
No painting
No warping
No mis-alignment
No storm concerns (handles everything a storm can hit it with)
With this configuration/hive, I can start nucleus colonies or as a single hive with the bees using every single frame.
Only one recommendation for improvement:
An entrance reducer with a 3/8" high by 3" long opening that can be easily cleaned out during our long winters.
