This hive comes with original two piece feeder. To purchase it with the single piece dual feeder, please add the single box hive with dual feeder, and deep super separately.
Great easy to work hives, have 10 in our apiary with the oldest being 3 years of age, which only has some minor color fading. The round entrances are especially nice to keep open during times of overnight snow. Really liking the updated bottom board which now uses the same clamps as the brood boxes. Overwinter hive losses have been around 10% since switching to Apimaye and maintenance is by far less.

Its like having an all inclusive hive set up
The Apimaye hive is the best thing since the Langstroth Hive was developed. It's great quality and I haven't had one bee drown in the feeders. I have been extremely happy with the convenience of having everything in one set up with the ability to move the hives if needed. I have not had to worry about storms blowing off lids ect. There is a lot to say! My only wish is that they would make an option to run all medium frames for us smaller women who really just want to use all medium boxes. It means I would buy more boxes and frames :).

Love the Apimaye hives
Second year beekeeper. Started last year with 2 nucs and 2 Apimaye hives. Now I’m up to 10 and an Apimaye nuc box. Can’t say enough good things about Apimaye products and customer service. Truly an industry standard.
Like that the hives have everything you need to get started. I especially notice that I have significantly less hive beetles than others in my area which I attribute to the Apimaye design and the ability to put DE in the bottom tray.
My only complaint would have been that the entrance reduces tend to melt when using OA vaporizers if you’re not very careful, but Lorob Bees new adapter made for the hives works great!

3rd year beekeeper, I have ran with Apimaye from day one. My Boyfriend is more practical than I am so we “Tried” Wood Langstroth hardware when our hives grew to larger numbers. We lost two hives to the winter weather and two weeks ago, we had our first bear attack. Our Apimaye hives protected our hives in the winter, and protected our hives from our first black bear attack, twice in one weekend. The wood hives did neither. I had no expectation that I would ever need to defend my hives from anything bigger than raccoons, but I can tell you this, every hive I own is in a Apimaye hives now. Maybe if our bear had been a Grizzle, or he brought some friends along, We may have lost our Apimaye protected bee colonies.
I can tell you without any reservation, if you run 10 hives or less 100 yards from your back door in Mid Missouri, you will never regret paying for Apimaye hives.
The white medium supers arrived quickly and in good shape. They are more expensive that wooden boxes, but my bees do so much better in our hot Texas summers.
