Hi! I am a new beekeeper. Got my first api last year! Assembly to maintenance has been a breeze! I live in a fog belt area and mites and wind are a problem in our neighborhood.
As these boxes are plastic and donot absorb they help stay away from mites a tad better.
Dont have to keep stones to avoid my hive from flying off! Has been a great experience so far! ready to buy my second this season :)

Excellent hives! I only have one apimaye as of right now but will definitely be getting more. That hive is the first one every morning up and at it! Excited to see how the bees do in the cold Maine winters in they’re new setup!!
This system is low/no upkeep for the most. Well-built and the modular system works great. The enclosed feeders are a great plus and really it is hard to beat the Apimaye system. Costly compared to traditional???? Sure, but did I mention, no upkeep like wood! The accessories are priced to sell also! Yes, I could have had twice the amount of wood hives to these but I feel like I have the Ferrari of hives.
