First season with Apimaye equipment and it’s been a game changer for me! Honestly love working my bees now and the joy is back. I’m heading into my fifth year so I barely know anything, but I keep spares of these bottom trays and swap them out about every 2-4 weeks from April - October. I keep mine filled with diatomaceous earth and it has all but eliminated any SHB from my hives, plus any wax moth larvae that gets chased and falls will die too. These are excellent quality and do not seem to warp, and the fit is perfect hive to hive. It’s really a very inexpensive spare to keep and makes helping my bees keep the bottom of the hive area clean and disease/pest free.
