I like convenience this board gives if we need to move the bees. Quick and easy to close them in.

Thanks for the upgrade options
I have been using wooden hives for several years and I have upgraded boxes to 2x12, 1 1/2” versus 3/4” boards. I am phasing all of the 3/4” boxes to be swarm traps, but for the three thick box hives, I like that I can upgrade them to get another 3-4 years of use as I upgrade to all Apimaye hives.

Landing board
I came to this site to hopefully find an Apimaye landing board that would fit my brand new Apimaye hives and agree with the previous comment- yes it would be nice if they could add an option of a larger landing board to their hives. Thank you

Make the landing boards available for new Apimaye standard hives
My old wooden hives had a larger landing board surface as compared to my new Apimaye hives. Apimaye makes a larger landing board, but it only can be applied to older wooden hives. I bought several without realizing this. I modified them with a couple of simple metal brackets and they work great on my new Apimaye hives. I would like to see Apimaye incorporate this feature (option/standard) into their future hives development. Photos on Apimaye Facebook group.
Thanks, J-
Easier to use then smaller split but doesn't have a syrup cap refersal for winter sugar. Would like syrup cap to be changeable to open so bees can get to sugar in winter. I just made them really lose.
Very easy to work with, light weight .put two small swarms in with divider board. Was the perfect set up for them. Love the built in options to feed, built in entrance reducer. I feel it will last a very long time. Have had to replace bottom boards, boxes and telescoping covers after only4-5 years with my wooden hives.
Thank you for a great product. Btw, this is my 2nd 7 frame apimaye.
