The Apimaye Hive Upgrade kit is designed to turn any 10 frame wooden box into an upgraded hive with some of Apimaye's most praised features like the bottom board with pollen trap, and the dual feeder. Our insulated top cover, feeders, and bottom boards do not warp and rot like traditional woodenware.

I first tried the apimaye bottom boards to control hive beetles that were relentless here in central Alabama. I have not lost a single hive to shb since using this set up. Plus they are great for relocating hives and the top feeder couldn’t be simpler. There was an issue with an order during shipping on one of my orders and apimaye took care of it immediately. Could not be happier!
This is my 4th kit for my wood hives I've bought.. love them. If i didn't already have the wood hives I would just stick to Apimaye full kit.
I should have started with these feeders. They are expensive but I can honestly say I have never found a dead bee in the feeder. Bought my first one and then had to buy two more. My bee Keeper friends who saw mine also decided to buy some. I have one have without Apimaye and it beards vs no beard with Apimaye.
I meant hive beetles not mites. Here's the picture of my hives. I need more hives.... I got a regular, upgraded, and premier.
We started our first 2 hives using the upgrade kit and were so impressed that we now have 17 hives using the upgrade. We caught a swarm today and had to use the standard bottom board. Already ordered another upgrade kit for #18
