WAY LESS MAINTENANCE THAN WOOD HIVES
No rot. Easy to use. Fits standard frames. I do a three part review of them.
This is a well built and easy to set up hive. My bees settled down into their with little stress and hopefully will be a lot warmer this winter. I will report the results in the spring.
I started out with the 7 frame nucleus so that I could more easily navigate the hive and get to know my bees. After a yr I decided it was time to get the 10 frame and now I plan to expand my apiary with exclusively ergo 10 frame hives. Here in Delaware our weather is very up and down with summers near 100 and winters in 20s and 30s. I find my bees thrive in these insulated boxes. Apimaye has designed a hive that really works great for the bees. In my opinion bees deserve a better home and these boxes provide one. I highly recommend especially for a new bee keeper.
Very easy to use as a new beekeeper. Great customer service. They sent a white medium instead of all tan and they sent me a return label to ship back the incorrect one and shipped a new one right away.
