In the cool weather, having an extra you can quick swap is great. Pack the patti or fondant, swap, repeat.
I can't tell you what a game changer these feeders are. We use them on our lyson polys too.

In winter I like to fill the center feeder of my Dual Feeder with fondant or sugar bricks. Having extras allows me to make them in advance and then just swap them out when they need more feed!

These are amazing! I attached one to a wooden deep, it was very easy and the attachment is secure. I really like the entrance reducer and the ability to fold up and secure the landing board. It will be much easier to clean than the old bottom board. Once I pull my honey supers I will be putting one on each of my hives!
Product is amazing and way easier to manage than the traditional 10 frame Langstroth. I would recommend buying during apimaye sales as the cost does add up. It is definitely worth it and as the saying goes “Buy once cry once.”
